The Clever Farmer and the Noble
Once upon a time, in an ancient Chinese village surrounded by tall bamboo and whispering rivers, there lived a clever farmer named Lin. Lin had a small plot of land, a happy heart, and a mind full of smart thoughts.

Nearby, in a grand house with red walls and golden roofs, lived a noble named Wei. Wei was proud and rich, but he didn't know much about the lands he watched over.

One day, a plague of locusts threatened to eat all the crops in the village. While the other villagers worried, Lin thought hard and came up with a plan.

Lin whispered his plan to the cats in the village. The cats purred and sprang into action, chasing away the locusts without hurting them!

Noble Wei heard about Lin's smart thinking. Curious and a bit impressed, he invited Lin to his house for tea and asked him how he had saved the village.

Lin, who was very polite and liked making new friends, shared his ideas with Noble Wei. The Noble learned about the land, the people, and the clever ways of farming.

From that day on, the Noble and the farmer became the best of friends. Noble Wei respected Lin for his cleverness and Lin helped him take care of the villagers. And they all lived happily ever after.
